Greetings,
Well we have been back in Australia for 3 weeks now and thoughts of our tour of Rajasthan are still strong in our memory. We had a wonderful time and our experiences in those two weeks will live with us forever.
We have sent you a few photos of our trip, we have around 200 photos and will probably send you some more later.
Could you please say hello to our driver Kishen Singh (Rajphut) and forward him the photo of us with him if you can. Has the war had an effect on tourism in India? We hope not!!!!. Tonight Australia play India in the final of the world cup. May the best team win and good luck to India.
Kind regards

Hi Durjay,
My girlfriend and I just wanted to send you an email to thank you for organising the best holiday that we have ever had! We loved India and were fascinated by it's sights, sounds and history. I cannot fault the service we received from Compass, we were met at every stage and were very well looked after. I would particularly like to thank Sanjay, he was always polite and extremely helpful. Would you be able to tell me the name of our driver, he was superb! His driving was excellent and we looked forward to our journeys with him. The guides were also excellent and very informative, particularly the guide we had at Agra. The hotels were amazing and surpassed even our expectations.
It really was the holiday of a lifetime and we are planning to return in the next couple of years.
Again thank you to you and all your staff!

Hi Mr. Durjay!
Now, we're back from India. We've had a very nice trip and I thank you
very much for all the amenities you've planed for us. Only two little things I have to tell you : - Your correspondent in Varanasi is not clear (but the driver is top !).
For example, hi tells me to give to the porter in Varanasi train station, 100 INR; but the price is only 20 ! So, I ask me where the 80 are now !
- The driver in Kolkata does'nt speak english - not at all. He was just terrified to be alone with us and have to speak English. Luckily, your correspondent was really top! Don't worry for both. But it's better you know it ! And I thank you again.

Greetings from L.A.! I gave a verbal summary of comments to Sanjay on my
last day in India. I hope it helps and I hope it wasn't overly critical.
I also realized that I returned the wrong phone charger to you; I gave you the charger to my HongKong phone instead of the charger to the India phone you gave me. I subsequently lost my HK phone while going through security check from Delhi (I think some security guy took it out of my hand carry baggage without letting me know and then forgot to put it back and I didn't realize it was missing until I arrived in HongKong) so I don't need the charger anyway. I hope you're able to replace the charger for your
India phone - my apologies for the confusion.
I wanted to correct something I reported to Sanjay (I hope I got the name
right, I couldn't find the card) just so so you have it right for the
record. I complained about the guide in Jaipur but I subsequently
remembered there were two guides in Jaipur. The one who took us to Amer
Fort for the elephant ride was good. It was the other one who was
supposed to take us to the Fatepur Sikri (the one with the mosque inside)
who had a problem with getting permission to do the guiding. He
apparently didn't have the proper license or something and had tremendous
problems with getting entrance into Fatehpur Sikri because of the license
issue. It was after much argument and altercation that they let him in.
After he got in, he didn't have that much to say either. We ended up
being toured inside the mosque by someone else on site. The
agent/representative in Jaipur as well as Varanasi was hardly there. They both
showed up only upon our arrival and neither went with us to the airport.
All in all, as I had told Sanjay, it was a wonderful trip and I am most
impressed with you and your staff including the driver, Sanjay and Raj.
Hopefully the comments were helpful and we wish you every success in your
business!

The trip went off with only minor hitches (as expected in
India and not related to your arrangements) and the addition of Arvind as
our guide proved to be an excellent bonus that resulted, in my opinion, in a
much more enjoyable and relaxing trip for both myself and my mother. If you
wish to include me on your list of people who are acting as references for
future travelers, I would be more than happy to act as a reference.

The national parks were wonderful, great country, although most of the
tourist's and the guides had 'Tiger fever'!!! Most visitors are only
interested in seeing Tigers and don't seem to bothered with all the other
wonderful wildlife (but for the record, we saw 11 Tigers!!) Khajuraho was
lovely, very relaxed town with friendly people, the temples were beautiful
and lovely to see. Agra was hectic and not really a good example of India or
Indians, very touristy. Overall everyone was friendly and helpful, very
welcoming people.

The selection of hotels was incredible,
I've visited lots of resorts and hotels in many countries but the Udaivilas
in Udaipur just really rocked. We really enjoyed the great service; food,
spa and atmosphere, the surroundings and views were marvelous. Also the
Rambagh Palace in Jaipur was excellent, we loved everything about it.
Congratulations and keep on the good work, i will certainly recommend to any
of our friends to contact Compass Tours when they will travel to India. Your
attention to detail is 1st class. Very hard to find these days.

We both
enjoyed ourselves very much and would have no hesitation recommending you to
anyone. The choice of hotels and the locations we visited were exactly to
our requirements. The contacts were always made and the Representatives of a
very high caliber. We will no doubt return in the future. The highlights
were the houseboats and the net fishermen on samudra beach.

Our
drivers were all wonderful, knowledgeable and reliable; I would thoroughly
recommend Compass sheerly because of the drivers! The itinerary was well
thought-out and structured; we felt that it was excellent value for money.
In summary, yes I would not hesitate to recommend Compass for travel in
India.

The Pushkar
Fair was wonderful. We enjoyed the village safari at Jodhpur. We felt that
the Village Theme Restaurant at Jaipur could have been left out, as we had
seen most of what was on show earlier on our tour. Also, the meal provided
at the Village was not a tasty delight at all. All in all, it was a
wonderful holiday with enormous variety. We consider that it would have been
difficult to improve on it. Our guide and driver, Bhawani and Rajesh were
very attentive, constantly looking after our every need. We had great fun
with them and they seemed to understand our sense of humour. We really
enjoyed our days/evenings with them.

One of the things we really liked was that pricing and costs were
very clear. When any Indian travel agency books a hotel, tour, etc. they
generally get a discount of 10% or more. Durjay explained to us that he
charges the price we would have gotten (undiscounted) but then adds in
extras. For example, we had a day in Delhi with driver and guide at no cost.
This was a nice change from some other agents we talked with that had a la
carte pricing but you could never be sure exactly what the total would be.
